Pune: The Deccan Education Society’s Institute of Management Development & Research (IMDR), Pune organized a conference on “Bamboo in the Cooperative Movement: Cultivating Sustainability and Prosperity” on 6th and 7th March 2026.
Distinguished speakers included former Union Cabinet Minister Suresh Prabhu and Chairman of the Maharashtra State Agricultural Price Commission, Pasha Patel, among others, who shared their insights on the potential of bamboo in driving rural prosperity and sustainable development.
Entrepreneur and Bamboo expert Sanjeev Karpe moderate a session and shared his experiences in bamboo development during the conference.
